How to book

The following is an explanation of the booking process on Bookinstructor.com platform. If You have any questions or suggestions regarding the booking process please contact us on info@bookinstructor.com.

 

Creating a booking 

- part of the booking process for a client, an instructor, or a school (the "Client") booking an instructor. All notification emails are being sent from booking@bookinstructor.com (please check the SPAM folder).

  • Step 3 a - instructor not available - Booking cancelled - notification email received
  • Step 3 b - instructor available - Confirm or Cancel booking - notification email received

Receiving a booking

- part of the booking process for the instructor that is being booked by the Client. All notification emails are being sent from booking@bookinstructor.com (please check the SPAM folder).

  • Step 2 a - no answer from the Client - reminder email sent to the client
  • Step 2 b - Booking cancelled - notification email received

Step 1 - Search - find Your instructor

Bookinstructor.com platform has three options for Your instructor search.

Quick search

  • on the Bookinstructor.com homepage
  • write the instructor name or resort where You would like to book
  • use FINE SEARCH filters to find the instructor You are looking for
  • click on the instructor profile card to view the full profile

Map search

  • only on desktop computers
  • on the Bookinstrutor.com homepage click on MAP SEARCH or after QUICK SEARCH click on the MAP option
  • find the location of Your instructor
  • click on instructor name to view the full profile
  • to go back to instructor profile cards click on GRIT

School search

  • after QUICK SEARCH for Your resort click on SCHOOL SEARCH
  • select a Snowsports School from the profile cards
  • find Your instructor in the OUR INSTRUCTOR TEAM in the School profile
  • click on the instructor profile card to view the full profile

Step 2 - Checking for availability

  • on mobile phone, tablet, or low resolution desktop click on BOOK THIS INSTRUCTOR
  • if not logged-in already, log-in in the BOOK THIS INSTRUCTOR part of the instructor profile, or use the top right corner LOGIN option
  • select date in the calendar and confirm if You are looking for HALF DAY AM / PM or FULL DAY, if You would like another option of lesson hours write a message to the instructor in the form
  • select a Resort from the instructor registered resorts, if the instructor can travel to a resort of Your choice, click on OTHER and write Your resort to check instructor availability to travel to this resort
  • select Your preferences in the rest of the form options, the options are based on the instructor’s profile
  • if preferred, write a message, question, or request for the instructor
  • click CHECK AVAILABILITY
  • a message “The form was successfully submitted ..” will show
  • the booking will appear in the MY BOOKINGS part of Your client account, or in MADE BOOKINGS part of Your instructor, or school account as NEW BOOKING
  • a notification email is sent to the instructor and the booking appears on his account

Step 3 a - Instructor not available

  • You will receive a notification email with the instructor’s answer and a link back to the booking in Your account
  • if the instructor replies as not being available, the booking is Cancelled, and the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished
  • the booking in the MY BOOKINGS part of Your client account, or in MADE BOOKINGS part of Your instructor, or school account changes to NOT AVAILABLE

Step 3 b - Instructor available

  • You will receive a notification email with the instructor’s answer, by clicking on CONFIRM OR CANCEL BOOKING You will be redirected to the booking details on Your account
  • the booking in the MY BOOKINGS part of Your client account, or in MADE BOOKINGS part of Your instructor, or school account, changes to AVAILABLE
  • in the instructor’s answer, or at the booking edit on Your account make sure to check
    • days of Your booking that the instructor is available
    • the FULL price for Your booking
    • suggested payment method
    • suggested meeting place and time
    • new message, or answer to Your message, question or request
  • if You would like to cancel the booking click on CANCEL in the booking Edit on Your account
    • the booking will be marked as CANCELLED and the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished
    • the instructor receives a notification of the cancellation
  • if You would like to Confirm the booking and Book the instructor
    • fill in the form to send the instructor more information
      • write Your preferred payment method, not mandatory
      • write Your preferred meeting place and time, not mandatory
      • write or answer a massage, question or request, not mandatory
    • click on CONFIRM TO BOOK
    • the booking will be marked as CONFIRMED
    • You will receive an email with the confirmation and with the booking summary
    • the booking details in the MY BOOKINGS in Your client account, or in MADE BOOKINGS in Your instructor, or school account, will include the PDF Booking itinerary of the booking to download
    • instructor contact details will be visible in the booking summary for any further communication
    • the instructor receives a notification email of the booking confirmation
    • the instructor has an option to upload attachments (maps, invoices etc.) to the booking, you will be notified by email if an attachment is uploaded, uploaded attachments will be available to download in the booking summary on Your account
    • if the instructor is working for a Snowsports school, and the school is registered with Bookinstructor.com, the school receives the PDF booking itinerary file

Step 4 - Booking finished

  • after the booked instructor service takes place, the instructor marks the booking as FINISHED
  • before marking the booking as finished, the instructor may upload files regarding the booking
  • You will receive a notification email that the booking finished with an optional link to a form to provide feedback on the booking and the instructor
  • the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished

 

Receiving a booking

- the instructor booked by the Client

Step 1 - New booking

  • the Client has CREATED A BOOKING on the instructor profile and is asking for the instructor's availability
  • instructor receives a notification email - NEW BOOKING - the instructor may click on the link to view and edit the booking on the instructor account
  • on the instructor account, in MY BOOKINGS, a New Booking is created
  • in the booking edit the instructor may click on UNAVAILABLE if not available
    • the booking will be Cancelled
    • the Client, that has booked the instructor, will receive an email notifying about the cancellation
    • the booking will change to NOT AVAILABLE on the accounts, the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished
  • if Available
    • the instructor may DESELECT or SELECT the days or half days they are available
    • the instructor fills-in the form
      • the booking Full price and currency, MANDATORY
      • Suggested meeting place and time, not mandatory
      • Suggested payment method, not mandatory
      • Reply to, or a message, question, or request for the Client, not mandatory
    • the instructor is to click SEND to send the form
      • the Client receives a notification email

Step 2 a - no answer from client

  • if the Client is not answering to the instructor availability, and an answer regarding the booking is needed
  • the instructor is to go to MY BOOKINGS on the instructor account and the booking edit
    • the instructor may click on REQUEST CONFIRMATION
      • a notification email will be sent to the Client to request Confirmation or Cancellation of the booking
    • the instructor may click on UNAVAILABLE if no longer available
      • the booking will be Cancelled
      • the Client, that has booked the instructor, will receive an email notifying about the cancellation
      • the booking will change to NOT AVAILABLE on the accounts, the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished

Step 2 b - Booking cancelled

  • the Client has Cancelled the booking
  • the instructor receives a notification of the cancellation
  • the booking is marked as CANCELLED, the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished

Step 2 c - Booking confirmed

  • the Client has Confirmed the booking
  • the instructor receives a notification of the confirmation, containing a booking summary
  • the booking is marked as CONFIRMED in MY BOOKINGS on the instructor account
    • the instructor must check the payment method preferred by the Client, if filled in
    • the instructor must check the meeting place and time preferred by the Client, if filled in
    • the Client contact details are available for further communication
    • the instructor may download the booking itinerary PDF file in the booking summary
    • the instructor may upload files for the Client (invoice, map, information etc.)
  • if the instructor is connected to a Snowsports school profile, the PDF booking itinerary file is uploaded in MY BOOKINGS on the Snowsports school account

Step 3 - Booking finished

  • when the booking has taken place, the instructor may upload further files for the Client
  • by clicking on BOOKING FINISHED the booking is marked as FINISHED
  • the instructor will receive a notification email with an optional link to a form to provide feedback on the booking and the Client
  • the Bookinstructor.com booking process is finished
